Care New England – Butler Hospital Weld Building Memory & Aging Infusion Center
Eight new infusion bays were constructed to provide more comfortable space and experience for the administration of investigational medications. The renovation included the creation of a modern open-plan infusion suite within an existing historic pre-Victorian era brick/masonry building. Phased demolition of finishes and structure, steel installation and new construction were all safely executed while the building remained occupied by hospital staff and patients. The new space allows room for additional vital screenings, EKG’s and blood draws with a lab processing room now within the infusion suite.
