Lonsdale Multi-Family Apartments

People’s Parish

Bentley started working with Belichikoo in the fall of 2021 when the owner was first in the acquisition process of the property. He had a vision of transforming this old church into a 30-unit property. Bentley started working with the design team and had to think outside the box for ways to maximize the unit count while not impacting any of the existing building envelope. The result was 32 one-bedroom or one-bedroom + units between the Parish and the adjacent rectory. To allow for such an increased load, helical piles were driven in the basement to provide increased structural integrity of the floor and new steel skeleton erected on the interior.

This project was recognized with the 2024 Associated Builders & Contractors of RI Excellence in Construction Award.
