Kent County Water Authority – Administration & Maintenance

Bentley completed this 46,000 sf Administration and Maintenance Facility including the development of the previously wooded lot located in West Greenwich, RI. The site includes a covered storage shed and a 30,000 sf Pre-Engineered Metal Building housing a maintenance garage each designed for a future solar array on the rooftops. The Pre-Engineered Metal Building (PEMB) is attached to a 16,000 sf Administrative Building. The site lays adjacent to freshwater wetlands and requires consistent maintenance to the Soil and Erosion Control Plan and Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan. This new facility also features a fueling depot and electric vehicle charging stations with controlled entry to the site.

This project was recognized with the 2024 Associated Builders & Contractors of RI Excellence in Construction Award.
